Welcome to Tropical Yarnie! I'm Andrea - the artist behind it all. Here’s a little about me and why I started Tropical Yarnie.
As a Florida native who loves fiber arts I found it challenging to find warm weather friendly yarn year round in colors that really spoke to me.
I am an avid crocheter from the super young age of just 6 years old and beach girl to my core!
So I created my very own tropical oasis featuring luxury, plant based yarn.
I take my time and personally hand-dye each skein that is always inspired by my love of the beach and all things coastal.
Tropical Yarnie is home to some fun, sun-drenched inspired colorways with fibers fit for warm weather but also great for all temps felt year round.
Our Yarn Collections
Seasonal: With each season a new collection will be available for order in any quantity and on all yarn bases. Those colorways will reflect a tropical vibe ready for your creative touch.
Watercolor:
Once a month there will be skeins reminiscent of a stunning watercolor painting in hues containing subtle shifts or bold movement. You can find a new piece of art on yarn on the 1st of each month. They will be available for order in any quantity and on all yarn bases.
Planny of Yarn:
Planny of Yarn offers four skeins dyed in the same lot on your choice of base giving you one last chance to craft your masterpiece in a retired fan-favorite colorway. Ready to Ship: Our Ready to Ship yarn is from current and past collections. Here you will find Seasonal and Holiday yarn available in limited bases. Check them out to see what can be to your doorstep quickly for the project that just can’t wait.
